Astana Expo
As the first registered World Expo ever held in Central Asia, the Astana Expo made a grand debut in 2017 in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, drawing participation from numerous countries and international organizations around the world. Themed "Energy of the Future," the Expo aimed to explore how innovative technologies can drive the development of sustainable energy and offer fresh perspectives for the global energy transition. At the same time, the Expo hosted numerous forums and seminars, bringing together global energy experts, scholars, and business representatives to jointly discuss the future direction of energy development. The Astana Expo not only provided a platform for countries to engage in exchanges and cooperation but also demonstrated to the world Kazakhstan’s determination and efforts in promoting energy transformation and sustainable development.
